Conclusion

Bed Bath & Beyond uses an information system called Bednet which is used in their POS systems during checkouts. We found that the system was flawed in the way of being inefficient in regards to the application of coupons. although they don't expire the process of entering the coupons into the Bednet POS. The coupons have to be entered in a specific order, five dollar off then the twenty percent, if that order isn't preformed correctly the whole transaction has to be terminated. If they made the system take the coupons in any order it would result in less transactions becoming void. Through our research we found the importance of time management, not because be implemented it into our project but because we lacked that particular skill.
